We stood along this waterway of the McNary Wetlands, where habitats are preserved to encourage local and migratory birds to come and populate. The air was cold and crisp, birds called in the distance, and the moon slowly rose about the cloud layer right along the horizon. This was painted on location--a rather fleeting and enjoyable time.
