Media: acrylic on watercolor paper
Size: 7.5x5.5 in
2-1-24 Spring This month, I'm joining Amanda Evanston's February Floral Challenge and today's prompt is Spring. I started planting daffodils in the woods up here probably 35 years ago so they are my favorite harbinger of spring. Not positive I'll be able to do all 29 days of the challenge, but I'm going to try! I set my timer for 30 minutes, but needed another 30 to finish this one. We'll see if I can speed it up! I like to do these small warm-up paintings before a painting session. The title is the date it is finished. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive into my day in the studio. This original 7.5x5.5 is painted with acrylic on heavy watercolor paper. It’s matted and backed to fit in a standard 10x8 frame. I slip it into a clear protective sleeve and shipping is free in the US. If you’re outside of the US and are interested, send me a note and we can figure out a shipping fee.
