6-20-19 warm-up
I tear up paper paintings that don't hit the mark to the 5.5x7.5 warm-up size. Sometimes there's not much to do to create another painting from the torn sheets. That's the case in today's warm-up. You sort of play I spy... and then refine what you see. It's like looking for things in clouds, but more colorful. Happy Thursday gang! Look for the beautiful things.
I like to do these small warm-up paintings before a painting session. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive in to my day in the studio. This painting is matted with a backing and slipped into a protective sleeve. It’s ready to pop into a standard 8x10 frame. 6-20-19 warm-up
