3-24-20 warm-up A friend of mine is creates these fabulous ceramic planters down in Fairhope, Alabama (Southern Wheel Pottery). She posted a beautiful planting a couple of days ago on FaceBook and challenged me to paint it. Nothing like a challenge to get me back to painting. Orchids and plants in this gorgeous undulating bowl. Thanks for the inspiration Jeanne! I like to do these small warm-up paintings before a painting session. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive in to my day in the studio. This painting is matted with a backing and slipped into a protective sleeve.
