Media: Mixed gouache ink resist
Size: 7.5x5.5 in
This one was painted in 2011. It’s gouache ink resist- a really fun and messy process. The title is…. Wait for it…. Bouquet. HA. Would you believe that it’s the only painting I have titled Bouquet? It has that rich dark black from the India ink. And I made up the flowers which isn’t that unusual. It’s varnished with a gloss that makes that dark sing. Cleaning out the studio has been a walk down memory lane. This might be one of the first bouquets that pushed me in the flowery direction.
