Media: Mixed acrylic on monoprint and collage on paper
Size: 7x5.5 in
2-11-20 warm-up I'm done with the monotype prints for my show (opening this friday- wheeee!) and now I'm experimenting with painting and collaging on top of the prints that didn't make the cut. So all you floral lovers- here's the first floral on top of the print. I have to say that my painting is a bit rusty after working for two months exclusively with monoprinting. It felt great to get the brushes wet! I like to do these small warm-up paintings or collages before a painting session. They loosen me up and get me ready to dive in to my day in the studio. This paper is just shy of 10x8 outside dimension- the printed and collaged and painted image is 7x5.5.
