"Pink Peonies"
A fresh and vibrant contemporary Watercolor painting - the perfect gift for a wedding!

I love to see the peonies bursting forth in the spring. Such a romantic feminine flower and so much fun to paint! I am a big fan of batiks. I hope you like this fresh approach using white outlines.

This is a quarter sheet watercolor painting sold unframed and without a mat. The painting measures 10.5 x 14.5" with an additional 1/4" border on all sides for matting. I recommend a 3.5" wide mat. This painting when matted and framed will measure approximately 18" x 22". It was painted on 140lb CP 100% Cotton Rag Paper. I used professional grade Winsor Newton watercolors on archival watercolor paper.
