Reflections in Lancaster County My friend grew up on a farm in Lancaster County. This is a painting I did of three oil lamps sitting on a windowsill with the afternoon light streaming through the window. The house and all of the contents were going to be auctioned the next day. This painting is a fond farewell to her past. It was quite an experience seeing a lifetime of possessions - a lifetime of stories and memories arranged on tables ready to be sold the next day. This is an original watercolor painted on 140lb CP 100% Cotton Rag Paper. I use professional grade Winsor Newton watercolors on archival watercolor paper. The painting measures 7.25" x 10.5". It is matted and ready to frame in a standard 11" x 14" frame.
