Day 25 of Strada Easel Challenge. We got rain all day yesterday on top of the snow we had gotten a few days ago. As soon as I packed up to paint the clouds rolled in but I could see breaks in the clouds to the North so I started driving hoping to find some sun. I ended up on a dirt road in New Gloucester and came across this marsh. With the rainwater on top of the ice it is was a wonderful greenish color. The sun was in and out so worked quickly getting the colors down. I added some snow to the tree just for some contrast! Day 25 of Strada Easel Challenge.
