I went for a drive with my mother yesterday trying to get some photos of the late afternoon light for future paintings. We kept missing the sun becuase it sets so early these days. I kept going up in elevation hoping to catch some glimpses of the golden light and was lucky to catch some on the remnants of a summer garden and on the distant mountains and trees.
