This is three of five paintings I did at Hobbs State Park Hiking Trails! Oh plein air! It can be quite challenging some days!!! This day was cloudy, windy, and a cold 44 degrees! Acrylics usually dry so fast, but not this day! I had some blending moments because of it! I also found it challenging that spring had not sprung yet! But, I powered through! The rock formations had a chance to shine without all the tender, green foliage. I was found it interesting that the tree trunks looked white. I kept think 'ghost trees'. I liked the way the color of the rocks played against the color of the trees. This is three of five paintings I did at Hobbs State Park Hiking Trails! Oh plein air!
