Haven't had much time lately. Caring for elderly parents. Grateful when I can grab a few minutes to create. Very grateful. Trying abstracts again and learning again that they are easy to do but very difficult to do well. I narrowed my strategy and decided that my only focus would be color and forget about all the other rules. I like the result. This one is about 14x18" on 16x20" sheet of Fabriano. I have built some substrates that are 10"x 6 feet (bought myself some power tools!). Real excited about seeing these juicy colors on a larger format. I have several paintings "On Hold" for my upcoming solo show which will require about 30 paintings.
