I live near the duck migratory pathway and took this photo some time ago. I've been wanting to paint it but was hesitant as I hardly ever paint landscapes or birds! And, there is usually a horse or dog making an appearance in my work. I decided to try this subject in gouache and remembered that I do love to paint with gouache!
