This original watercolor captures the natural beauty of a flooded quarry, where stones of various shapes and sizes dominate the rugged landscape. When I paint outdoors in nature, I feel reunited with nature. My painting watercolor on cotton paper, using mainly palette brush and watercolor paints.   Watercolors give this work a special lightness and airiness. I like paint with watercolors using the ala prima technique, using the effects of splatter, transparency and color saturation.
