I love painting rolling waves, especially in plein air like this one, because it’s such a fleeting moment. This day the water was crisp and clear. I saw a whale just out past the rollers, and some surfers off to the south side. This was painted on the beach bluff, at Westport, Washington state. Sold unframed, ready to frame.
