A simple black and white notan landscape of the lake shore and public boat ramp for Crescent Lake, at Crescent City, Florida. The private pier and tiki house of a popular local restaurant and bar is to the right, while the palm trees in lines on the land spit are silhouetted against the far shore of the lake that forms the horizon. This is my first attempt at a notan, which is perhaps the barest of minimalism art. While it took only a few minutes to fo the actual drawing, it did take quite a bit of planning before I put brush pen to paper. Video coming soon (if it turned out alright).
