The palm trees next to the public boat launch silhouetted against a colorful morning sky just before the sun peeks over the trees on the opposite shore of Crescent Lake, in central Florida. Oil pastel on heavy primed paper and sealed to prevent smudging. The snapshot is color-accurate. For some strange reason, the scanner did not pick up the brightest pink or purple. Video of me working on it coming soon - I finally used my webcam.
