Some foods go back millions of years, unchanged, and some go back thousands of years. 500 years ago, Shakespeare mentions Tewkesbury mustard in "Henry IV" where Falstaff has the line: “his wit’s as thick as Tewkesbury mustard”. These mustard jars are all from Dijon, France, where Dijon mustard was created a mere 157 years ago. Hard to choose between Tewkesbury and Dijon, so I keep both around.
