My recent drawing, "Shadowness," honors Shadow, Big Bear's beloved bald eagle papa. "Shadowness," as I perceive it, encompasses the qualities of being a good parent, an equal partner, a fearless defender of mate and young ones. It means building together, and soaring together. And it means being the greatest among the only living dinosauria. That's the way I see him.
