Hebe, the goddess of youth, here relaxed in quiet meditation. One of a series of nudes, drawn from life, that manifest our mental projections of classic archetypes onto the male and female figure. My drawing style is relaxed, loose, and unpretentious. Working with varied media and subjects keeps my eye fresh and helps me see what attracts me across varied modes of expression. Angles, Contrast. Texture, Atmosphere. Ink wash and graphite on 140# cold-press acid-free watercolor paper. Sold unframed at 18x24".
