I am fortunate to live in and among actively farmed communities, and during the transition between fall and winter there is inevitably some farms along my morning commute where interesting things happen in the environment. One generally has only to be receptive and perhaps plan ahead, as braking in traffic can have negative consequences! But with a little luck and foresight scenes can be brought into the studio for a little show and tell at the easel. This piece is painted on a gesso masonite panel.
