I wish I could say this painting was based totally on found objects, but of course the wine was purchased for other reasons, and chance brought me the brass bowl. I used some autumn leaves for decoration on my favorite still life surface. Painted on a canvas panel, this has been professionally custom framed in a gilt frame that highlights the color of the bowl.
