This piece is part of my Dune collection, painted from a visit to the dunes at Arcadia Michigan. I find it challenging to get "under the skin" of simply rendering a scene, so I like the way this turned out. As CW Mundy likes to say, "the power of suggestion is greater than the statement of reality." Painted on a gesso masonite panel.
