This piece is painted on a linen panel. I am inspired by other artists who work in the small 6x8 format recommended by Kevin MacPherson. One of my favorites is Julian Merrow-Smith, who has a consistent approach to painting that is truly indomitable. These are the first peppers this year from my garden - only one plant, but it looks determined to provide material for several more paintings, and fixings for tacos, omelettes, etc. Thank you for viewing my work!
