This was painted from a trip to Traverse City Michigan several years ago. I managed to find a location looking Southwest along a stretch of the Boardman River. The sky cooperated by providing some interesting clouds. As always, keeping the abstraction was a challenge for me but I really like how this piece turned out. Painted on a gesso masonite panel.
