Apricot and Grapes with White Bowl is one of my celebration of summer pieces. I bought the apricots because they are one of my husband's favorite fruits, and because I love their color and shape. As soon as I bought them, I knew I wanted to paint them. I added the grapes to the composition after I bought them to make Chicken Salad Veronique. I added the white bowl because I both love its shape and because I knew it's bright white color would add interest to the piece.
