As it comes to the end of the summer season, I was inspired to create this image. In it, a couple of little girls are enjoying dashing through the surf in October: after "the season" on an east coast beach. The summer is definitely gone, along with the crowds, but still sunny and warm. I love the feeling of energy and joy this piece conveys.
