Back in the 1960s when we would visit the old family farm, we stayed in a cabin with a hand pumped well and no indoor plumbing. This outhouse was our bathroom. Later, the cabin was modernized to a degree with running water and a real bathroom, so (thankfully) we abandoned the outhouse. It still sits there today in all of its rustic glory. Sometimes I use gouache (opaque watercolor) and/or colored pencils and pastel pencils in a limited way to enhance the painting. Your painting will be inserted in a plastic sleeve and shipped usps in a standard no. 10 security envelope.
