This is based on reference from a family trip way back in 2007. I loved the rim lighting and the rough textures of this scene. It was also fun putting in the deeper detail in the shadows. The paper is high quality 140 lb. Arches watercolor paper. Your painting will be inserted into a plastic sleeve and packed carefully in a standard no. 10 business envelope. It is also signed on the front and the back. Sometimes I use gouache (opaque watercolor) and/or colored pencils and pastel pencils in a limited way to enhance the painting.
