Media: Watercolor with some added gouache on 140 lb arches watercolor paper.

On my recent trip to Canada I came across this plant lit up by a stray sunbeam. I asked it its name.
"Fern" he said.
"Just Fern?" I said.
"You heard me, just Fern!"
"Well alright," I said, "No need to get snippy!"
There was an awkward silence after that, but I feel that we parted on good terms.
