Media: Acrylic on stretched canvas
Size: 6x6 in
This piece was created as a prototype for my concept for the 30x30x30 show I was a part of at Var Gallery in Milwaukee. I usually paint a bit larger than 6x6 and wanted to see how my shadow series would translate at that smaller size. This piece is a shadow self-portrait of me when I was out walking my dog last fall. My goal was to make viewers more aware of the beauty that is all around us, even in simple things that sometimes go unnoticed. I titled the painting with the date and time the reference photo was taken. This piece was created as a prototype for my concept for the 30x30x30 show I was a part of at Var Gallery in Milwaukee.
