Media: Acrylic on stretched canvas
Size: 6x6 in
This painting is one from a series of 30 pieces that I painted as part of the 30x30x30 show for Var Gallery in Milwaukee, WI. Chosen artists were tasked with creating one 6"x6" piece each day of January. It was quite a challenge! I focused on painting cast shadows and how they interact with different surfaces (grass, pavement, snow, houses, etc). My goal was to make viewers more aware of the beauty that is all around us, even in simple things that sometimes go unnoticed. I titled each painting with the date and time the reference photo was taken. Var Gallery's show is now complete. Remaining pieces are now available to purchase on Daily Paintworks.
