Portrait 4/100 in my 100 heads challenge, Izzy. I am trying to challenge myself to paint many different types of portraits and Izzy's close up -- complete with glasses, reflections, piercings and a broad range of colors from reflected light -- was both challenging and fun to paint. Reference photo from Museum by Sktchy. Note: There is a small 'stripe' in the texture of the canvas - see photo 2 - on the canvas board. I didn't realize it until after I had finished painting. Portrait is discounted due to the irregularity, which is not terribly noticeable unless the light hits it just right. Portrait 4/100 in my 100 heads challenge, Izzy.
