'Annie' is head 25/100 in my 100 heads challenge. I was really drawn to the bright colors in the reference photo -- I love using the magenta paint! As I hit the 1/4 point in my 100 head challenge, I'm trying loosen up my brushwork a bit, which is proving more difficult that I expected. I managed some looseness in this portrait, but I want to continue to push myself to be more painterly going forward. Photo reference from Museum by Sktchy.
