"Calm" is a piece I created during a bout of thunderstorm anxiety-- I used watercolor-toned paper and stiff brushes to blend the dry pastel, giving it a soft, serene feel. It's a little less detailed and colorful than my usual style, but I enjoyed the calming feel I got whenever I looked at the completed painting.
