Another painting from my new "Mini Metals" series! Created with pieces of molten tin left over from the 2007 wildfire that destroyed our garage, this textured art features a metal butterfly and flowers layered with palette-knife applied acrylic paint. I've been picking up the metal pieces for years as I find them, because I love to see the unique shapes and textures created by the fire.
