This painting was created with gesso, acrylic, sand, and soft pastel to create a unique texture inspired by the moth's wings. We came home one day to find this creature resting on the wall of our house, and we all took turns looking up close at the uniqueness of its size and patterns under the wings. Even after living in this place for almost 20 years, we are still finding new nature discoveries each year!
