Still life of an empty mango chutney jar and a papier mache elephant, painted gold and given to me by my daughter. I like the contrasts of the materials and the way they refract / reflect the light and also the complementary colours. I've not tried the clayboard before, I like it! The paint, well thinned with linseed oil, is really slick on the surface and allows much looser handling.
