This is a painting of Kew Railway Bridge on the River Thames at high tide from the Strand on the Green's lovely riverside walkway. I painted it en plein air with the Friends of The Royal Institute of Oil Painters on an overcast day. Strand on the Green is a picturesque riverside area of Chiswick known for its many listed buildings along the river. Apparently the painter Johan Zoffany lived at no. 65.
