This valley was once the site of a steep, downhill train run from the coal mines tucked into the higher hills. The story is that those coal cars didn't need any fuel for the run down to the port in Pittsburg -- gravity did the work. Acrylic on 12" x 12" canvas in a natural-finish wood frame.
