An early spring day along Marsh Creek in Round Valley near my home in Northern California. Over centuries the creek has carved a deep ravine through the terrain, revealing a fascinating, multi-colored tapestry of erosion, decay, new growth and habitat. I love the peaceful feeling of its sheltering embrace. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord Panel, 12" x 12", unframed.
