It was an honor and a joy to be the Ruth Bancroft Garden's artist-in-residence this Fall. Daily painting in the garden -- heaven on earth! On my first day I was inspired by this brilliant green Palo Verde tree and its purple neighbor, a blooming cloud of Texas Sage. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord panel, 12" x 12" in a maple floater frame. This painting will be part of "The Wonders of Plein Air" exhibit, May 3 - June 25, 2025 at the aRt Cottage in Concord, California.
