It's a treat to see the Bancroft family's beautiful home framed by Ruth's glorious garden. The eyebrow dormers give it personality! Painted during my Fall 2024 artist residency at the Ruth Bancroft Garden in Walnut Creek, California. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord Panel, 12" x 12", in a natural wood frame. This painting will be part of "The Wonders of Plein Air" exhibit, May 3 - June 25, 2025 at the aRt Cottage in Concord, California.
