I love painting Mt. Diablo from points all over Northern California. This view is from Grindstone Joe's, a little private island along Little Potato Slough in the Sacramento/San Joaquin River Delta. It was a joy painting here with my friend Sharon Hind-Smith, a fellow artist and caretaker, with her husband Patrick, of the island and its yacht club facilities. Acrylic on Ampersand Gessobord Panel, 12" x 12" in a maple floater frame. I love painting Mt. Diablo from points all over Northern California.
