When I see a collection of pots or jugs, the Bible verse, “We have this treasure in jars of clay,” comes to mind (2 Corinthians 4:7). It reminds me that what's on the inside is far more important than outer appearance or apparent value. Thanks to Denise McQuillan, whose photograph inspired this painting. “Jars of Clay” is painted with acrylic paint on watercolor paper.
