On a Vancouver Island holiday a few years ago we explored the north part of the island. One of the highlights of that holiday was a whale watch trip from Telegraph Cove.
During the boat ride on the Pacific we saw more than orca whales—also dolphins, eagles, and a rocky beach full of sunning sea lions. Reference photo for this painting was a photo I took on that trip.
