This iris painting holds a special place in my heart because of the reference photo. It was taken on my mom's last outing with us. That day we wandered along the oceanside walk with hubby and me taking turns pushing her wheelchair. Then we had lunch in a restaurant that served fish and chips--just what she wanted on that beach outing. Somewhere along our walk, I snapped a photo of these lovely blooms. This 6 x 8 inch watercolor is painted on 140 lb. hot press cotton paper. It has been mounted on a cradled wood panel (sides of .75 inches). It does not need glass protection and is ready for hanging.
