Lately, I've been painting more realistically, getting ready to work on larger canvases. 'Blue Roan Horse' was done from a photo of one of horses, Reno. Reno began life as a dark, blue roan, but, as he's aged, he's turned into more of a grey. He's out of a Two-Eyed Jack stud and our mustang Smokey, so he's more of an events horse. (Yet, he can be slow and careful when my daughter gives a child a ride. Horses know). More realistic animals to follow...
