I composed 'Giraffes, We Three' from reference photos I took during a visit to Henry Doorly Zoo in Omaha. The baby and several female giraffes were waiting to be fed hay by the zoo keepers. Sunlight streaming in from the windows in the Giraffe House illuminated the giraffes. I decided to keep the background simple by using a triad color combination.
