Smokey is our 20 year old mustang mare. We've had her since 1996. I photographed her grazing in the pasture one day and decided she looked like she was bobbing for apples. ACEO was created by using a color pencil painting technique that involves layering on color and blending the pencil with a paint brush and Gamsol OMS.
